Rick Cecil is our Principal Experience Strategist. He has 12 years of results-oriented experience envisioning and designing innovative solutions for a variety of companies, including Scripps Interactive, T-Mobile, AT&T, Motricity, Duke University, Fortunoff, La-Z-Boy, and Oxford University Press. He has worked at all stages of product lifecycle, from strategy and conceptualization to design and development. Rick co-founded the Interaction Design Association, an international organization focused on the advancement and promotion of interaction design.

Abe Crystal, Ph.D., is our Principal Design Researcher. Abe earned his doctorate in Information Science from UNC-Chapel Hill, where his research focused on field studies of personal information management and personal productivity. He has worked with IBM, Microsoft Research, and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. He co-founded the Triangle Usability Professionals Association with Rick, and served as Vice President in 2006, President in 2007, and Chair of the Advisory Council in 2008 and 2009.

Jackson Fox is our Principal Interaction Designer. Since building his first site in 1997, Jackson has designed and built engaging and usable websites for organizations such as Lulu.com, Choice Hotels International, Rate it All, Ogilvy, KaBOOM!, University of North Carolina, Duke University, Duke Medicine, and CACI. He enjoys learning new methods and tools, and exploring the application of social and cognitive psychology to design. Jackson is active in the local UX community, and has spoken at events such as Agile, Refresh the Triangle, DC Design Talks, and DCampSouth.
